Extending Protection to Cover the Book Publishing EcosystemAs the industry leader in protecting the rights of content creators on the web, we are always looking for new ways to help our customers be proactive in addressing online piracy. Our goal is to push the envelope continually to find more effective ways for our customers to realize the full value of their content. As more and more content becomes available online, the issue of content infringement is ever more pressing. In order to address the needs of book publishers in a more comprehensive way, we have introduced three new services which we think provide unique opportunities to move the industry forward. These services are Guardian Portal, Guardian Forensics and Guardian New Release. Google’s latest enhancements help Attributor, our clients, and the community at large protect the value of original content. As Kent Walker highlighted, new services and technology make it easy for us to view or download information that was not previously accessible. We are excited by the richness of information and we understand that people are eager to share it with our community. Ad Server Share Drops By Half; Google DoubleClick Dominate MarketMore than a year has passed since our last Ad Server Share report, so we thought it was time to reexamine the prominence of various ad servers in the market. Attributor analyzed those that monetize content across 270 million domains, which is nearly 75% more domains and pages covered than in previous studies, including a major uptick in international sites. With expanded domain tracking capabilities, we feel this is our most comprehensive ad server report yet. The result is that more ad networks were detected with higher precision. |
