Management Team
Jim Pitkow, CEO, Co-founder
Jim is the CEO and co-founder of Attributor and also serves as the Chairman of Anchor Intelligence. Prior to Attributor, Jim was CEO and Chairman of Moreover Technologies, where he successfully restructured the company through acquisition by VeriSign in October of 2005. Before Moreover, Jim was the President and Chairman of Outride Inc., a spinout from the Xerox Palo Alto ResearchCenter (PARC), which was acquired by Google. Jim received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated Cum Laude in Psychology from the University of Colorado.
Matt Robinson, SVP of Business Development and General Counsel
Matt leads the company’s business development and strategic partnership initiatives and also serves as the company’s general counsel.  Matt has been involved with internet and new media companies for the past decade, focusing on the intersection of content, technology and law. Before joining Attributor, Matt spent 6 years at Yahoo!, most recently as Vice President and Associate General Counsel overseeing legal product counseling. Matt holds a BA degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. 
Stephan Thomsen, General Manager
Stephan leads Sales and Marketing, Product Management, and Professional Services for Attributor. Stephan has deep operational experience building and managing global services organizations serving international customers in a broad variety of industries and he has worked extensively with the implementation of enterprise software. Most recently, Stephan served as Chief Operating Officer for FocusFrame where he led the consulting organization through its successful acquisition and integration by Hexaware Technologies. He has also served in leadership roles with Ernst & Young and 2Roam. His past customers include eBay, Netscape, Walt Disney Co, ABCnews.com, DIRECTV, and AT&T. Stephan holds a B.A. in Math and Computer Science from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
Adrian McDermott, Chief Technical Officer
Adrian McDermott is the Chief Technical Officer at Attributor.  Previously he was the VP of Engineering for BEA Systems’ AquaLogic User Interaction family of products and the Web 2.0 based Enterprise Social Computing product line: AquaLogic Pages, Ensemble and Pathways.  Adrian joined BEA as part of the Plumtree Software acquisition, he was the first engineer hired by Plumtree in early 1997 and worked on the architecture and development of every Plumtree Portal product version.  Prior to Plumtree Adrian worked as an itinerant software consultant in London, Hong Kong, Sydney and Guam.
Erik Hogan, VP of Product
Erik is responsible for establishing strategic product direction, optimizing product-market fit and expanding into new markets. He has deep experience with Agile approaches to product design and development, and leads Attributor's adoption of Lean Startup principles. Erik has over 13 years experience in product management and product marketing, working for early-stage startups including Yodlee, CoVia and Enlighta, covering online collaboration, services governance and personal financial aggregation. Prior to his current position, Erik excelled for four years as a product manager across all Attributor product lines.
Dejan Diklic, Chief Crawling Architect
Dejan manages the text, image and video crawling team at Attributor and is responsible for the company’s crawling architecture, algorithms and operations. Prior to Attributor, Dejan played lead roles at Yahoo, working on its first-generation APEX advertising platform, and at IBM Research, where he created a backup/restore application that is now standard on every Thinkpad. He also held various engineering leadership roles for 8 years at IBM research in the U.S. and China. A fluent speaker (and terrible speller) of four languages, Croatian native Dejan holds advanced degrees in Physics, Math and Computer Science from schools in Germany and the U.S.
Mark Olswing, Director of Business Operations
Mark leads the Professional Services and Account Management teams at Attributor. Mark has extensive experience working with Internet startups over the past decade. Before joining Attributor, he was Director of Business Operations at Kindsight, a network based security solutions and Internet advertising startup. Prior to that, he held business operations and partner management positions with the Interactive Advertising Bureau, Xoom Corporation and University of California, San Francisco.
